Editing WordPress Theme offline.
I am sure WordPress is the most suitable blogging platform yet and it is good platform of CMS as well. All Enthusiast Blogger uses a wordpress. But if we manage to some editing offline without the internet connection it would be very easy to navigate our problems and solutions and fix it and upload it directly.
Firstly.I would like to tell you that wordpress uses a server and MySQL to store out database files.So to do same with our PC we will be using xampp which you can download latest version from here. Download Xampp
Then Hit Install:
After the installation Process all the above services will get started. If the service is not starting then you can enable it from your tray icon menu.
Now go to Browser address bar and type http://localhost If anything had gone right then you will be prompted for choosing a language. Then after choosing language you will be redirect to the page like the picture below:
At the left sidebar orange menu click go to security the you will get a page in a new tab and click in a link below like this:
3. Set you password and click on password changing and note down its username and password you created just now because we will need this later on.
4. Now close that tab and again return to homepage and again from right sidebar go to phpmyadmin.
And login using your previous used username and password .username is root and the password is that you created earlier step.
Now when logged into PHP my admin then click on the database from top of navigation menu and enter the database name as your choice for now I will use wordpress as my database name. Now choose the database you created earlier from right sidebar at the bottom.
Press Check all and then scroll to the bottom and press GO.
Now get your Fresh Copy of WordPress.zip from wordpress.com and extract it and Copy it to C:/xampp/htdocs/ by overwriting its all the files too.(Please do as in Image).
6. after copying the whole wordpress files into xampp/htdocs. If Everything Went Normal Then you will be Seeing screen Like This.
7. Click on Create Configuration File and click lets go after that you will Be Redirected to Another Screen Asking for your database information.
If Everything Went Normal Then You will Be redirected to This Like page:
Now fill all the forms the way you like and then go to http://Localhost/wp-admin and use above login details to get to your account and edit you WordPress database anyhow you like …
